This section lists our Java tutorials that come with our CD.  Click on any tutorial below to view more information about it.  Java, originally name "Oak", is a programming language that that allows developers to create things like cellphone games, to online interactive applications that can be ran over the internet.  Java is an object-oriented programming language (OOP) that has been used by over 4.5 million developers world wide.  Since it originally started to become popular in 1995, many computer science colleges teach at least one Java programming class.  This is why we at GameTutorials decided to start teaching the basics of Java as well.  Though Java is not as robust and fast as C++, it is still a very useful language that you should be familair with.  When C++ or C#  are not appropriate like when programming certain web programs or cellphone games, Java is a fantastic language to use.  Check out our FAQ for tons of knowledge on getting starting with Java.
